Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TripMoor, an online trip planner operated from Australia. By using tripmoor.com or our apps you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TripMoor.
1. Who can use TripMoor
You must be at least 18 years old to use TripMoor, and you must be able to enter into a binding contract where you live. When you book on behalf of other travellers, you confirm you are allowed to do so and to share their details with us.
2. What TripMoor does
TripMoor turns a description of your trip into a day-by-day plan and lets you change it in conversation. Plans, suggestions and answers are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and public information about places, and they can be wrong or out of date.
Before you rely on anything in a plan, check it with the official source: opening hours, prices, transport times, ticket and booking rules, safety advice and entry requirements. Visa information in our passport tool comes from Wikipedia's community-maintained pages and is a guide only, not legal or immigration advice.
TripMoor is a planning tool. We are not a travel agent, tour operator or carrier, and we don't run the places, transport or activities that appear in a plan.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email address, using a link or code we send you; there is no password. Keep access to that email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at support@tripmoor.com if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Hotel bookings
Hotel rates, availability and bookings are provided by our hotel booking partner, which sells the room and takes your payment through its secure payment service. Its name is shown on the payment page and on your card statement. We never see or store your card details. Your stay is provided by the hotel; the hotel's own rules apply to it.
Before you pay, we show the total price, what it includes, any taxes or fees payable at the hotel, and the cancellation policy. The booking is confirmed only when you see a confirmation. If a booking can't be completed after payment, you won't be charged: the hold on your card is released, usually within about an hour.
Cancellations and refunds follow the cancellation policy shown when you booked. Non-refundable rates can't be refunded except where the law requires. You can cancel an eligible booking in TripMoor, under My trips & bookings.
Changes the hotel makes, problems during your stay and requests at the property are for the hotel to resolve; we will help where we can if you contact us.
5. Booking confirmations you add
If you paste or upload a booking confirmation, you confirm it is yours to share. We use it only to read the booking into your trip and don't keep the text or files afterwards.
6. Your content
Your trip requests, messages, plans and notes remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run TripMoor for you, including sending them to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy.
Anyone with the link to one of your trips can view it, but only you can change it. Share links with care.
Don't put information in a trip that you don't want stored, such as passwords, card numbers or health details beyond what you need for the trip.
7. Fair use
Please don't:
- break the law, or use TripMoor to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- copy or scrape TripMoor's content or data, or access it with bots or scripts, except through an interface we provide for that purpose;
- try to get around limits, security or access controls, or interfere with the service;
- use TripMoor to build a competing service, or resell it without our written permission;
- make bookings you don't intend to keep, or use payment details you're not entitled to use.
We may limit, suspend or close access when someone breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
8. Other services and links
TripMoor shows information and links from other services, such as map, weather and encyclopedia services and the websites of places and hotels. Their content and terms are their own, and we aren't responsible for them; we use their content under the licences they offer and credit them where it appears.
Some links to booking sites may be affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes the order of what we suggest.
9. Changes to TripMoor and these terms
TripMoor is evolving; features may change or stop. We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using TripMoor after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Australian Consumer Law and our liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and consumers elsewhere may have similar rights under their local law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
To the extent the law allows, TripMoor is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on plan content you didn't check, by third-party services, or by events outside our reasonable control. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using TripMoor at any time and ask us to delete your account. Bookings you already made remain subject to their cancellation policies.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia can hear disputes about them. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you that can't be excluded by agreement.
